DOG THEFT - dont let this happen to you!

This is the CCTV footage of dog thieves at work.  This breeder in Luton, Bedfordshire was targetted within only minutes of leaving his farm.  A rottie male, was loose on the farm and thieves badly injured him by hitting him over the head with an iron bar.  Springer adults and puppies were taken and never recovered.

Its not just breeders that are targeted, we can all be victims of dog theft if we are not careful and vigilant.

Mrs Orme from Bromsgrove, thieves clambered over fields to enter the grounds of her property, 6 chihuahuas stolen.  Despite extensive media attention none were recovered.

Mrs Pope from Telford, thieves broke into their property late one night. Stealing 9 pomeranians.  Mr Pope caught the thieves in the act, but was unable to doing anything as the thieves drove their vehicle straight at him and tried to mow him down. One dog was later recovered from another breeder in Walsall when they attempted to sell the dog on via the free ads.

The Smith family from Bilston, thieves climbed over into their garden and stole 2 chihuahuas. The family immediately installed CCTV and introduced further security measures.  But this didnt stop the thieves they knew more dogs where there, they came back again.  Similar ammo to the Telford theft.  They drove a large yellow pick up truck at the owner and through one of the dogs out of the vehicle and directly at the owner in their getaway bid.

Mrs Bolton from Walsall, the 84 year old pensioner answered her door to two youths who claimed they had found a set of keys outside her door.  She left the door ajar whilst going to check if the keys were hers.  She returned to the door, told the youths they were not hers and closed the door.  On returning into her lounge she noticed her companion Yorkshire Terrier had gone.  She immediately went to see if he had gone outside when the door was left open and Scruffs collar had been posted through the letter box.
